After a long weekend, a wedding I went to (as a guest!!), and a mini vacation to chicago, we are home. It was so wonderful. First, my cousin was married on Saturday. It was so beautiful, and so wonderful to have a weekend off - my only one this summer!
Then, Matt, Bryson and I headed to Chicago for a little R&R. We strolled the art museum, the parks,
meet up with some old friends, went to the aquarium,
and even played on the beach!
It was fabulous. Matt is going to be gone a lot with work, so it was nice to spend some time together just enjoying each other! Bryson loved the aquarium, he wanted so bad to go through the glass and be with the fish... he kept banging his head on the tanks!
Also, while we were up in Chicago, I got to go to the Free To Succeed tour - a little photography workshop - and it just blew my mind! So many great ideas and inspiration. David Jay and Jasmine Star are amazing... I am a serious blog stocker with both of them. They both talked about their path to photography, and some great thing that helped them become so successful! It was great to see them in person, all the way from Orange County, CA. And... be on the lookout for some big changes around here! I am really excited!
